Twin Cities and Weimar, as the two all-star teams in Texas East District 13 drawing from the smallest pool of players, overcame the odds to meet in the Minor League championship last week. To start the tournament, held in Brenham, both won their pools with games played June 16-22. They advanced in the four-team, single-elimination bracket with semifinal wins on June 24.
