The Fayette County Commissioners Court enacted a burn ban in Fayette County at an emergency meeting at 8:54 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23.
The burn ban prohibits all outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Fayette County and allows a fine not to exceed $500 be assessed to violators.
