Buying a garbage compactor for use by Dairy Farmers of America was unanimously approved by the Schulenburg City Council at its regular meeting Monday, Feb. 7.
City Administrator Tami Walker said two such pieces of equipment are in “dire need” of replacement. Although it wasn’t included in the budget, she said she was confident she’d be able to shift funds to cover the expenditure.
