Sgt. Randy Thumann, his K-9 partner Kolt and Investigator David Smith with 5.45 kilos of cocaine recovered after Sgt. Thumann initiated a traffic stop on a black Toyota Camry on Interstate 10 near Flatonia. The driver sped off and during an 11-mile pursuit, threw bricks of cocaine out the window.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics K-9 Unit seized approximately five kilos of cocaine during a traffic stop on Saturday, Feb. 6 on Interstate 10 about three miles west of Flatonia, according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.
