Bids awarded for street paving, drainage, water line

    Two infrastructure improvement projects moved forward with the approval of bids by the Schulenburg City Council at its meeting on Tuesday, May 7.

    The first one was awarded to WJC Constructors of Smithville for street paving and drainage upgrades at College Street and Kessler Avenue (Highway 77). Bradley Loehr of BEFCO Engineering said bids ranged from around $280,000 to about $446,000 with WJC subm…
