The Fayette County Commissioners Court selected Emergicon, a Dallas-based company, as the new EMS billing provider at a meeting on Thursday, Aug. 26.
“Our percentage that we pay the billing company would go up three percent,” EMS Director Josh Vandever said. “They are estimating – with a very conservative estimate – that they can improve our cash collections by $162,000 next year.”
