With Tom Muras’ resignation as Fayette County Precinct 4 commissioner, County Judge Joe Weber appointed Drew Brossmann to the position.
Muras, in the middle of a fouryear term, announced his intention to step down earlier this month effective Dec. 31. Texas law states that the county judge appoints someone to serve out the term.
