Fayette County Judge Dan Mueller enacted an emergency order prohibiting outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Fayette County on Saturday, March 15 around 3:15 p.m.
That emergency order was then ratified by the Fayette County Commissioners Court at an emergency meeting held on Monday, March 17 at 10:30 a.m.
