CDA provides a little comfort through ‘prayer blankets’
SHOWN WITH PRAYER BLANKETS being constructed in a program recently undertaken by Catholic Daughters Court St. Rose 1597 are (from left) chaplain Rev. Tim Kosler and volunteers Clara Clark, Pat Christ, Rosa Galipp and Karen Miley.
With guidance from the Catholic Daughters court in Hostyn, Court St. Rose 1597 started a prayer blanket program in Schulenburg.
Blankets are made by many caring volunteers of Court St. Rose 1597. They are lap-sized, sewn with love and prayers for those who receive them. This prayer blanket is a symbol of a faith-sharing community “covering of prayer” for the individual who uses it.
