By a 3-2 vote, the Fayette County Commissioners Court lifted the burn ban at its meeting on Thursday, Sept. 8.
County Judge Joe Weber made the motion to approve an order allowing outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of the county. Precinct 4 Commissioner Drew Brossmann seconded the motion and asked the citizens of Fayette County to please use common sense when burning.
