At the Fayette County Commissioners Court meeting last week, EMS Director Josh Vandever talked about an effort to get youth interested in the profession.
“We decided to do a program where we will bring any high school-aged kid ... to EMS for a week,” he said.
Vandever mentioned that EMT Brandon Johnson operates a nonprofit organization which holds such summer camps.
