The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of shots being fired at a trail ride in the Mullins Prairie area at approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday, June 23.
According to Sheriff Keith Korenek, a large gathering in the 6000 block of Munke Road followed an annual event put together by Capital City Trail Riders and 25-year-old Kavion Joiner of Elgin was arrested.
