High winds drive house fire north of town, couple escapes unharmed

A night at home watching the Astros took a drastic and tragic turn for Jimmy and Cindy Carter last Tuesday, April 2. While their favorite MLB team ended up blowing a late lead, the Carters lost much more as high north winds contributed to the rapid spread of a fire from a detached garage to the house.
