The Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire on FM 1579 east of Schulenburg at 5:53 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14.
Upon arrival, the home was found engulfed with smoke and all occupants were outside and safe. After gas and electricity were shut off, one SVFD team made entry to the attic while a second entered the interior of the home.
