A passenger vehicle rear-ended an 18-wheeler on Highway 77 near the Schulenburg city limits on Monday, Feb. 3 resulting in the death of a 32-year-old man from La Grange.
According to the report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver of the car was identified as Javier Maldonado-Roa. He was pronounced deceased at the scene and next of kin had been notified as of Saturday, Feb. 8.
