The Schulenburg Public Library was chosen as one of 42 across the state to receive a grant from the Texas Book Festival.
The organization gives out grants to libraries each year to grow equity for libraries and communities and to support the hard work of library directors and staff. Since 1996, Texas Book Festival has funded 1,211 grants totaling more than $3 million to 600-plus libraries.
