For over 40 years, the Schulenburg Sticker was owned and operated by the same couple, Joe and Maxine Vyvjala. They worked together to put out the paper each week with many loyal employees over the years. Maxine took over as publisher after Joe retired in 1993 and continued in that role following his death in 2017. Now, Maxine has rejoined Joe for eternity. She passed away at age 83 on Wednesday…
