Marijuana seized in traffic stop on I-10 near Flatonia

A felony marijuana arrest was made during a traffic stop on Interstate 10 about four miles east of Flatonia on Monday, April 12, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.
Sheriff Korenek reported that around 9:12 a.m., Drug Interdiction Sgt. Randy Thumann and his K-9 partner Kolt stopped a 2000 Chevrolet Z-71 traveling eastbound on I-10 at the 666 mile marker for a traffic violation.
