Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported that on Sunday, Aug. 14 at approximately 7:09 a.m., Fayette County dispatchers received a 911 call from a motorist who had stopped for a break near Interstate 10.
The caller stated that her location was off I-10 at FM 2238, which is the exit at Engle west of Schulenburg. She reported that there was a subject lying in a ditch who appeared to be deceased.
