Money laundering arrest made during stop on I-10 at Flatonia
U.S. currency concealed in the engine area in an aftermarket false compartment was located during a traffic stop on I-10 at Flatonia by Drug Interdiction Investigator David Smith.

A money laundering arrest was made as the result of a traffic stop on Interstate 10 at Flatonia on Wednesday, Jan. 12, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.
Sheriff Korenek reports that around 2:36 p.m., Drug Interdiction Investigator David Smith stopped a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo SUV on I-10 westbound at the 661 MM near mile marker.
