A proclamation recognizing Patricia “Patty” Nelson on her retirement from the Fayette County EMS was signed by the Commissioners Court on Thursday, June 12 and she was also presented with a plaque of appreciation.
Nelson served as a licensed paramedic for over 35 years. Prior to working for Fayette County, she had been the Colorado County EMS director.
