Electrical lines and power poles on the north side of town were damaged by an oversized load being transported by a tractor-trailer on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 6.
According to Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek, the rig was traveling southbound on Highway 77 when the equipment snagged lines near Executive Inn & Suites at 1:28 p.m.
