The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department issued a scam warning on Thursday, March 14.
The Sheriff’s Office received reports of someone calling Fayette County citizens and claiming to represent the Sheriff’s Department. The caller stated that the citizen had warrants and that the fees could be collected over the phone.
