First responders staged an accident scene last Wednesday morning, Jan. 19 to show Schulenburg High students the consequences of distracted driving.
In the “Shattered Dreams” program, spearheaded by the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department, two local teens lost their lives and two others were hospitalized in the simulated mishap at the intersection of College Street and Lyons Avenue.
