Pursuit of grants for police dept. approved

Three resolutions seeking grants from the governor’s office for police department equipment were approved by the Schulenburg City Council at Monday’s meeting. Police Chief Troy Brenek said the applications request 12 bullet resistant shields, an upgrade to car and body-worn cameras, and six mobile license plate readers.
