Police Chief Troy Brenek’s Monday morning got off to a weird start when he saw a man running in the street down Kessler Avenue and then having the subject become belligerent when confronted.
The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. Brenek said he first witnessed the person near The Texan travel center/truck stop and made contact with him in the road in front of Schulenburg Elementary School.
