A major accident on Interstate 10 eastbound on Friday, Oct. 28 just past noon caused traffic to back up for several miles.
According to Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department First Assistant Chief Drew Brossmann, a Toyota Tacoma pickup left the roadway about four to five miles east of Schulenburg and hit a guardrail. It was then struck from behind by an 18-wheeler, he said.
