Property in the Schulenburg ISD will be taxed at the same rate as last year following action by the Board of Trustees at a special meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
The total rate of $0.8969 per $100 of valuation was approved, reflecting the highest that could be adopted without requiring an election. It breaks down into $0.669 for maintenance and operations along with $0.23 to pay for debt service.
