The second annual Armed Forces Appreciation dinner and dance, hosted by area veterans organizations, took place on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange.Activities of the event kicked off at 4 p.m. with American Legion Post 102 member John Battle acknowledging guests and veterans.
