Following last Friday’s 28-21 bi-district loss to Johnson City, Shorthorn head coach Luke Hobbs comforts the seniors who played their final high school football game – (from left) Rodney H Walton, Bryce Stoever, and (right) Nicolas Lopez. A fourth senior, Jacob Vacek, was sidelined most of the season with an injury. Hobbs commended them for their leadership, which contributed to a turn-around from 0-10 in 2022 to 5-6 and a playoff berth this year.
