Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics unit has been busy.
On Wednesday, Jan. 22, the narcotics unit conducted a traffic stop on North Washington in La Grange. The driver of the vehicle, who had a history of forgery, was found to be in possession of printers and other check-forging equipment. The case remains under investigation.
