Sheriff reports on stolen vehicle; reminder given to lock vehicle and take keys
After a vehicle pursuit by law enforcement from Engle to east of Weimar, items confiscated from the vehicle included a stolen rifle and marijuana.
Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that Deputy Jared Michalec responded to a call about a stolen vehicle in the Fayetteville area on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
The owner advised that they had parked the vehicle, left it running with the key in the ignition, and gone into a business. However, when the owner returned, the vehicle was gone.
