SVFD battles barn blaze at midday Friday

The Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department spent over two hours extinguishing a barn fire north of town on Friday, Jan. 13. Six fire trucks and 20 personnel responded to the call at 11:37 a.m. about two miles from the city limits off Highway 77.
