Policies covering disaster pay, funeral pay, and chain of command were addressed by the Schulenburg City Council at its regular meeting last week.
The items, to be included in the City’s employee handbook, passed by a 2-1 vote with aldermen Larry Veselka and Greg Thomas absent. Council members Clarence Ahlschlager and Scott Stoner voted in favor while Alderman Frank Wick III opposed.
