Ruby Rodriguez (PHOTO #1) sprints to the finish line en route to placing fourth and Alton Herzik (PHOTO #2) heads up the final uphill stretch at the Sports Complex on his way to a ninth-place finish on Thursday, Aug. 29. They turned in the top performances for the Lady Horns and Shorthorns in the varsity division of the Schulenburg Cross Country Meet.
