On Friday, June 23 at approximately 2:28 a.m., Schulenburg Police Department officers stopped a 2015 Chevy car at The Texan for multiple traffic violations.
While speaking with the driver, officers smelled an odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A probable-cause search was conducted as a result. During the search, a usable amount of marijuana was located along with a handgun.
