Just before graduating last week, Schulenburg High senior Taylor Limbaugh became a state champion. She beat out five other Class 2A finalists in the University Interscholastic League’s persuasive speaking competition on Wednesday, May 26.
Held virtually, Limbaugh garnered 15 points, ahead of Shelbyville’s Hagan Crumpton at 12 points. Sydney Hardin of Mason placed third with 10 points.
