Cody Pavlicek (second from left) had the grand champion entry in the Schulenburg Young Farmers Hay Show, held in conjunction with the Fayette County Fair. His coastal bermudagrass sold for $1,300 at auction. Pavlicek also received 1,000 pounds of fertilizer donated by Bumper Crop Texas of Schulenburg.
