‘Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone’ in LG scrutinized by Court

Petit and Ayala Consulting made a presentation on a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone in the La Grange area at the Fayette County Commissioners Court meeting on Thursday, Oct. 23.The City of La Grange hired the firm to assist in setting up a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ).

The Texas Department of Agriculture recently recognized the Heinrich Farm north of Schulenburg for 150 years of continuous agriculture production.

Polling Sites For Nov. 4 Election

For the election on Tuesday, Nov. 4, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Fayette County ballot will include the 17 proposed constitutional amendments. The Fayetteville ISD Tax Rate Election will also appear on the ballot for voters who reside in Fayetteville ISD.
