Ronald Gene Krischke

Ronald Gene Krischke passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, after suffering a massive stroke and then contracting COVID.

He was born Sept. 8, 1946 to Frank and Hattie (Koenig) Krischke. He attended Schulenburg High School and was raised in the Schulenburg area. He later moved to Houston. He served in the Texas National Guard for a time. Ronnie owned and operated an automobile body shop in Spring Branch for several years. He later moved to Brazoria County, Churchill area. He also worked in Lake Jackson, in the automobile repair business. After retiring, he was an avid fisherman and lived near a canal from the San Bernard River, where he could easily boat and fish. He enjoyed many years, spending time with friends and having coffee at the local diner. His jovial laugh will always be remembered by friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Krischke, and his mother,

Hattie Krischke of Schulenburg.

He is survived by his only sibling, Wayne Krischke, and wife Jan of Conroe; two nephews, Gaylon and Aaron of Conroe; along with many cousins and relatives.

There will be a private burial at Black Jack Springs Cemetery, O’Quinn, at a later date.
