The Juneteenth Committee is pleased to announce a new event this year – a Historical Showcase on Saturday, June 18 at the Randolph Recreation Center, La Grange, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
“One of the Juneteenth Committee goals,” president Johnathan Ellis explained, “is to preserve African American history in the county. This session is designed to help residents learn how to participate in this effort.”
