QUILT GUILD
The public is invited to join the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. as CVQG welcomes guest presenter, Patricia McCartney.
McCartney is the owner of Heavenly Threads in Trinity. Her program will offer a trip back to the 1920s when feed and flour sacks began to make their way onto the quilting scene. Everyone is invited to bring a friend and come enjoy this look back at quilting history. Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meetings and programs are always free and open to the public.
Members are encouraged to rejoin the guild before Aug. 31 (end of the fiscal year). At the September meeting, a drawing will be held for a special gift.
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl St., Room A East, La Grange. Meetings begin at 10 a.m. on even months and at 6 p.m. on odd months.
