Brown Family
The 53rd annual Brown family reunion will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 at St. Mary’s Parish Hall located at 1648 FM 340 near Hallettsville from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The reunion takes place each year on the third Saturday in August.
A corn hole tournament will start at 11:30 a.m. with an entry fee of $20 per team (first place splits the pot with the reunion).
Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. and a cake walk will open at 1:30 p.m. At 2:30, p.m., an auction will begin. There will also be door prizes and a raffle.
The reunion will provide meal, drinks and beer. Those attending are asked to bring an auction item and a cake for the cake walk. The contributions to the auction and cake walk helps continue the success of the Brown family reunion.
