Aregular meeting of the County of Lavaca Local Emergency Planning Committee will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Eddy Foods, 404 Airport Road, Yoakum.
The Emergency Planning & Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA) establishes the LEPC as a forum at the local level for discussions and a focus on matters pertaining to hazardous materials planning.
LEPCs also assist local government and the public with information about possible chemical hazards in their communities.
