The next Navidad Valley Cattle-Women business meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Cabos San Lucas Mexican Grill in Hallettsville, 1636 N. Texana.
The meeting will begin with a Dutch treat lunch at 11:30 a.m.
The guest speaker will be Michael Grahmann, who will share information on the Hallettsville Junior Livestock Show commercial heifer program. CattleWomen support commercial heifer programs in each county they serve – Lavaca, Colorado and Fayette. Commercial heifer programs involve many levels of consideration: live evaluation of heifers (pen of two), exhibitor record book (presentation/organization, accurate receipts, calculations), written exam and exhibitor interview (knowledge, presentation).
