Formidable size at the net played no small part in Windthorst’s 3-1 Class 2A state semifinal win last Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.
The Lady Horns finished with a hitting percentage of .037 against blockers measuring 6-foot-2 and three at 5’11” as well as another at 5-foot-9. Those five accounted for most of the Trojanettes’ 10 blocks as well as Schulenburg’s 31 attack…
