Bennett announced as Deputy of the Quarter

    Investigator Marc Bennett has been named Deputy of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2022, according an announcement by Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.

    Investigator Bennett has 27 years of law enforcement experience, with 22 of those years being at the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

    Bennett worked patrol most of his career, but was promoted to Investigations in January 2021. Investigator Bennett handles crimes against person, including CPS (Child Protective Services) cases and sexual assaults, some of the most difficult cases to handle in this profession.
