Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reports that officers responded to 99 calls for service and six reportable incidents were investigated during the week of Dec. 31 through Jan. 6
Included were one possession of a controlled substance arrest, one Lavaca County warrant arrest, one DWI 3rd or more arrest, one DWI, one criminal mischief, and one possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon arrest.
•Dec. 31 – Officer Powe conducted a traffic stop on I-10 near the 675 mile marker on a vehicle with defective brake lights and unauthorized use or possession of a temporary tag. After a consent to search, the driver, 41-year-old Colin Anderson Cason of Columbus, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
