The governing Board of St. Mark’s Medical Center voted unanimously to pursue becoming a Rural Emergency Hospital (REH) to allow the hospital to remain open and continue to provide select medical services to the community.
Starting Saturday, Feb. 18, St. Mark’s began offering only 24/7 emergency medical services, patient observation, and select outpatient services.
