Fayette County Habitat for Humanity’s first home repair project was recently completed here in Schulenburg.
Volunteers spent two months at the residence working three days a week. During that time, they replaced all the siding on the house, several windows, and the water heater. They also replaced the insulation, exterior doors, and lights to ensure that the home is safe and secure.
